here is a place on every death certificate for the cause of death.  Some doctor we don't even know will fill in that blank for us.  He will write the name of some disease or ailment to explain our passing. 

 When we came into the world, another doctor filled in our birth certificate.  There was a place for the date and time of birth, place of birth, and names of our parents.  There was no place in which he could fill in the cause of life. 

 The cause of life is more important than the cause of death.  It is of the most importance that we discover it before we die.  Jesus knew why he was born.  We can also.  In God's Scriptures I learn about the cause of my impending death.  There also I  learn about the cause of my  life, which is far more important. 

 All things were made by him and for him (Col. 1:16).  May everything I do be for him today.

I don't know how many days
On this world my soul shall live
But I was born to Praise
And to God all glory give
