If I could give Advice to my younger self
If I could do it all over again -
I’d treat my foes more like a friend
I’d worry less and I guess
I’d try gratitude more to express.
I’d listen far more than I’d speak,
I’d try harder to help the poor and weak,
I’d live on less, give more stuff away,
try to be God’s answer when I for others pray
I’d learn to read music and to play the notes,
in youth, sow more wheat, and less wild oats,
and like King David, dance for joy and sing;
and surrender much sooner to Jesus Christ my King. - id
