Centurion
(Lk. 7:1-10)

Lord, I am unworthy that you
should enter in
For you are pure and holy
and I was born in sin.

Lord, your words are balm enough
to cure and heal all ill
Your word holds all authority
to tame the stubborn will.

I say to one that he should come
and soldiers do obey
But you have more authority
and gave life to Eden's clay.

And so I wait to hear thy word,
O God, whate'er that be
to come or go, to live or die
is good enough for me.
