Never Alone

He Who sends so too defends
or bids me go, goes with me
Though once a foe
We now are friends
Immanuel is with me.

As Christ Himself was not alone
And did all things - to please Thee
As I go through - on my way home
Not mine, God’s will that needs be

He Who said He always does
The will of God that sent Him
Goes before with those He loves
And nothing shall prevent them
