Of Such is the Kingdom

Not for the high and mighty
nor for kings who wear their crowns
or for the proud, the fool, the flighty
men of wealth, of strength, renown.
But he who seeks the kingdom
and the door to enter in
                                              dare not trust man’s wisdom
but as a baby must begin

                                              Leave behind self-righteousness
with pride and all your sin
and bow your head in humbleness
lose your life to Christ and win
Except ye come as children
ye need not bother come
for the portal to the kingdom
just fits the little one
And as the tiny baby  clings
to its mother firm in trust
learn this truth from little things
and to enter, crawl you must. -id
