Shepherd's Work

First His work is to redeem
then take into His fold
He leads us into the fields of Green
then last to fields of gold

Into green pastures leads His sheep
and beside the waters still
He who saves will also keep
and those kept, they love His will

He leads in paths of Righteousness
as the Truth, the Life, the Way
And all we need He does possess
Ours to trust Him and obey

Even though we do not know
what might tomorrow hold
if through death’s valley we must go
faith will come forth as gold -id
