Balance
“I wisdom dwell with prudence” (Prov. 8:12)
T
he God-Led-Life is a spiritual relationship, an experience, but also an equation. Equations must be balanced: Law and Grace, Love and Truth, Faith and Works, balanced. All the wars and woes of this world can be traced back to the source, man’s original sin and error, causing sickness and disfunction and death.
“All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God (Rom.3:23).Those books don’t balance.Sin and sickness are an imbalance of body soul and spirit. Peace with God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ makes things “right.” Isaiah said the “work of righteousness is peace, and the effect of righteousness is quietness and assurance forever” (Isa. 32:17). Also, “thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee” (Isa. 26:3). Peace is spiritual equlibrium.
Here, wisdom and prudence are personified attributes of the nature and attributes of God perfectly manifested in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. Prudence is the restrained caution and regulation of hasty confidence when engaged in the sacred employment of life's stewardshp, so as not to cause unnecessary offence, pluck green fruit, or to harm people or plants by impatiently pulling either up by the roots to inspect the fruits. Wisdom and Prudence know when it is time to silently listen and when to speak the truth in love, wisely employing tact before you act. -id
