Creation

God stepped out on nothing, said “Let there be light”
From nothing made something, ‘twas morning and night.
With a blink of his eye and the wave of his hand,
H e made land and sky, covered beaches with sand.

God bunched up the mountains with his fingers just so;
and called forth the fountains from great depths below.
Then filled up the ocean, put the waves on the sea,
Set planets in motion and said, “Let it be.”
He crowned his creation, all part of his plan.
with one exhalation, he breathed into man.
From the dust of the earth, dust from diamonds and coal
then a thing of more worth, made an eternal soul.
Yes, a thing of more worth, made an eternal soul. -id
